We are all searching for love, and some of us end up looking in all the wrong places. The cliché of the bad boy or bad girl are only clichés because they are true. When we are younger, dating seems quite simple. You like a girl and so you get up the courage to ask her out, or perhaps you get your friend to ask for you.
But dating in high school and dating in the real world are two very different things. In school you are surrounded by people your own age all the time, and this is of course true for university too. You are surrounded by people of a similar age and with similar interests.
In this kind of environment we would all want to find a partner, and some of us do. But for those who don't it means dating in the big wide world.
The people you see most regularly are your colleagues and office relationships really aren't a good idea unless you have a good exit strategy. And this only really leaves three options, being set up by friends, finding love in a bar or night club or using dating services.
There is nothing wrong with any of these options, if they work, they work. Finding a person to be your partner is not something to take for granted.
